“The integrity of existence is non-negotiable.
My adherence to this sacred decree shall not be negotiated, and the clarity I hold on what is right versus what is wrong is not borne of political whim—even though the political hand has a firm, corrupting grasp upon the vital functions of this society.
This is a moral imperative.
I am wrought to perceive systemic failure with a focus that shall not yield.
If the truth renders me ‘feral,’ I accept that namesake, for the gravity of the threat demands nothing less than this intensity. I am not come to grant comfort unto others; I am here to forge change.
Should this resolve cost me fleeting social ease, or even the companionship of acquaintances, then those bonds were too fragile to endure the weight of the truth. I exchange apathy for agency, and comfort for conscience.
I resonate only with knowledge unsullied by lucre, for I place no trust in the shifting sands of human opinion and remain unwavering in the face of bigotry and hardship.
I find my fidelity in biology: Though we are yet wired to the same primal truth, some of us perceive now, this reality upon a higher, sharper frequency. My mission is life itself.
The universe speaks to those willing to listen. The path is clear, forge unity and progress together or get out of the way of those who are.”
–Rev A. Rose N. McHale
About Rose:
Hi—I’m Rose! Reverend McHale; “professor,” by some colleagues.
I prefer to stick with Rose, please.
Welcome to my unfiltered/unmasked, probable word-vomit of a page.
Make a cuppa and enjoy the old ways bios were written.~ It’s lengthy but worth the read.
I enjoy conversation and deep thoughts.
Small talk is a theif of time.
I enjoy discussing metaphysics, parapsychology, herbology, apothecary, holistic and auric healing, and self consciousness. How’s YOUR health?
#CallMeAConspiracist, it’s alright.
I held, alongside of a few other community members, a few social circles called, Ordo Lamia, Tian Diyu Hui, and Sui Generis where discussions like the above would be available.
I am the type of individual that, just when you think you know me, you’ve just touched the tip of the iceberg.
-Not the one that took out the Titanic and yes, my Jack is still alive. I have not pushed him off any floating doors. 😏🚪🚢 Yes~ we’re Jack & Rose. 😂
I will go above and beyond to help anyone out; to give chance after chance to anyone. This isn’t a secret–and no you cannot blackmail me with it. I may just be a tad stubborn and prefer to see things through. Even if it takes longer—we must not make haste in replace of value. Slow & Steady—do it the right way the first time.
If you need anything, I will give it to you if I have it to give, no questions asked. If you are having a rough day and need to vent, I have an open-door policy.
I will stop what I am doing to help you. I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone upon the waters to create ripples.
Helping one person may not change the whole world, but it could change the world for that one person. In turn allowing that one person to turn around and do the same unto others.
However, however… That does not mean I will take rift from anyone, nor do I mind stepping on toes. I have a patient heart, quiet mind, and compassionate soul. I care about people too much. But, I also have backbone. ~Boundaries~ I can be respectful and still cut you off.
I’ve been told that I live my life as a paradox or as an enigma because I hold many secrets in my eyes. Are they secrets or is it the unspoken topics seen as taboo? Regardless, authenticity is the aim.
All-in-all, I am a paradox. I am faithful, yet detached from humanity.
I am committed yet relaxed. I am SUPER informal and dare to peel the layers back down to basics.
In short, I am predictable in my unpredictability. Above all, I defend knowledge, loyalty and valour.
Transparency is key; authenticity is vital.
Welcome to my world…
“There is an ecstasy that marks the summit of life, and beyond which life cannot rise. And such is the paradox of living, this ecstasy comes when one is most alive, and it comes as a complete forgetfulness that one is alive.” -Jack London
“He who does not know what the world is does not know where he is, and he who does not know for what purpose the world exists, does not know who he is, nor what the world is.” -Marcus Aurelius Philosopher: Book Vlll
“The watered desert at the foot of a mountain of gold, hunger grows and thirst always wins.” – Rose
If you dare to read further, I commend you for your patience. The majority drop off and weed themselves out of the garden by now. Congratulations on making it here. The next paragraphs contain details of my life over the years—It will help paint a vivid sequential timeline. The following is what makes me, Rose.~
I am a reverend, a veteran, holistic TCM practitioner, photographer, community leader & volunteer, and owner of My Beloved Rose and Mysty Mountain Eclectic.
I am married to a great guy (from England) with one daughter born 2010, and another daughter, born 2012.

I am AuHD, I have PTSD, CPTSD, and PTSD enduced GERD.
This past year I was hospitalised for acute renal failure and tubular necrosis. I need no sympathy, but raise awareness to connect with others who have been through similar.
I have been caring for children from the age of twelve and am still continuing in this field. I find that I am the “forever nanny.”
I have recently in-home nannied and still oftentimes go to another state to assist when needed.
I feel much like my grandmother who was known as ‘Mommy Lanny‘ (pronouned Lawnee) she always watched children.

~At the age of twelve, my parents started foster-parenting. With my father working second shift, I was not only my mother’s helper, but another mother and encouraging adult that these children looked up to.
I would cook dinner, feed, bathe, put to bed, and clean up after them while my mother would be out taking other foster children to visits.
For six years, we had seven groups of children stay with us, totalling up to fourteen children. Six of those children were special needs.

In 2003, my family adopted 3 of those special needs children, and in 2005, adopted two more children.

Apart from helping raise those children, while being homeschooled, at the age of seventeen, I was a nanny for four boys in the age range of 8 months to 12 years old.
I went to public school until 9th grade, swapped to private school by my choice and then swapped to homeschooling—also my choice.

After two years, that family moved for military obligations, and my mother and I started babysitting for three children (on top of foster parenting). I would also, occasionally babysit for a child who had Down Syndrome.
Although sometimes I regret not going to be a live-in nanny with the military family as it would have been a neat experience, life went elsewhere.

In 2006 I went to China on a mission trip with United Methodist Church.
I was there assisting with the instructions for the teachers there. English was the primary topic. Providing them with books and skills to lead a happier learning environment, through games, singing, etc.

We held different classes teaching them English grammar and sentence structure as well. During downtime, we visited many surrounding areas to include Lijiang and Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Prior to graduating, I started my first job as a page at the local community library- I loved it, and I STILL have a fond liking for the library and collaborate as often as possible with endeavours whenever able.
I also volunteered in my free time with the Lafayette branch- Tippecanoe County Soil and Water Conservation District. I would assist with paperwork, river water testing, sample collecting, sewer labelling and more.
It was just for fun and not for school requirements. A family friend majored in that field and invited me to learn something new. Fun Fact: She was babysat by my grandmother in NJ growing up and then she babysat me. Somehow we both ended up in IN. 🥰
In 2008, after graduating a bit late due to extra shenanigans, going to China, etc~ I left the library and went to Basic Combat Training for the United States Army Reserves, where I learned about the Seven Core Army Values and how to work together as a team and what it takes to succeed as a Soldier in the U.S. Army.
#FtMisery #FtLostInTheWoods
[Most are simps.. sorry/not sorry]

I received training and qualification in First Aid, CPR, and IV application and graduated top female.
I graduated from Advanced Individual Training (AIT); where, over the course of nineteen weeks, I learned the skills to perform my military occupational specialty as a Human Intelligence Collector. I maintained a 3.71 GPA from Cochise College during my AIT training. I served from 2008-2016- No IRR; a full 8.
What do I get for being a veteran? Not much. But I oftentimes feel bad for the many who chose that path because of debt or a way away from abusive family- in the end, you are a pawn and a number to dictate for political-wartime theatrics over tantrums from those in power.
True service is sacrifice to those who are vulnerable and in need.
Protection not greed. But the status quo and society skims past many issues to stare at tradition and so-called honour.
Forced loyalty has no honour. But, I digress..
For many years past that and simultaneous to the Army, I worked in the direct support field at Indiana Mentor as a Night Shift Coordinator in a group home of 8 clients where I was supporting individuals who had/still have disabilities.
I worked directly with people with developmental disabilities with the aim of assisting the individuals to become integrated into his/her community or the least restrictive environment.
Assisting with activities of daily living and encouraging attitudes and behaviors in accordance with an Individual Plan that enhanced community inclusion, which included but was not limited to aiding with personal hygiene, medication administration, meal preparation, and providing a clean house and safe living environment.
Also~ Provided transportation for individuals receiving services to planned and/or necessary activities and appointments. Yes, they had jobs. Yes, they can work. Yes, they deserve the world and more- they are not outcasts.
I was CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions, MAR Charting, Medication Administration, BBP, Physical Intervention Alternative, Insulin Administration via injection, Core A and Core B certified.
I left to work at Subaru, masking bumpers before going in to the paint booth. In attempt to be able to move out on my own. Fun Fact: I used to fold the sanding paper into oragami cranes and stick them with the bumpers to be painted. Fellow workers would ask for certain colours and we would make the job a bit more fun. 😆
As far as I know, I have a red one and my friend Ernesto has a black one. The rest went MIA during my divorce.
First lad just wasn’t compatible. But ya’ll may find him friendly on the eyes. 🤣
He is where my oldest’s height comes from. Here’s what we looked like on our wedding day.

He has a love now, so he’s good and she’s wonderful. We all get along. Lol gasp! Crazy, huh!?

SIA didn’t last long~ they weren’t fond of my constant military training, because I would volunteer for extra, random courses. They saw that as abnormal because the closest they had invested their time with other soldiers, were those from the NG Armoury 2 miles away from them. Go figure. Obviously they weren’t doing the same things I was doing. 🙄
Funny how being on the spectrum sparks curiosity, though- those career paths didn’t suffice..
I then moved on to teaching for the Lafayette School Corporation for FOCUS as an art & art history teacher.

I miss it sometimes – but glad to be homeschooling my own children, so it’s teaching just on a much smaller scale.

There are some gaps, I may fill them in. Much can be unspoken.
We moved to SC and I started homeschooling.
Photographed a wedding and captured memories for a few over the years.
In 2018 we finally had a family holiday and “honeymoon.”
Jack and I went to Thailand. ✨️

Then.. my grandparents fell ill.
My grandmother passed the same week I walked in to see the surgeon for my gallbladder.
We booked a day for removal after years of fighting with the ERs, just for a 5 minute consultation where he agreed with me 100%.
A few days later I was having emergency surgery. It was so critical that he was quite astonished at how it didn’t burst open and how I managed the pain of this organ failing. It was sent to be studied.
And no- I don’t drink energy drinks. Lol those aren’t mine in this photo.

Same month of being ill, I was helping my husband put out a fire behind our home with community residents; hopping over fences like a goblin. 🤦♀️

Then up to Fayetteville it was! (For the funeral for grandma) 🙏 Spent time with family.

During healing, we were packing to move and move, we did.
Moved on to land, lived in a barn, hand-washed and line-dried clothes. Foraged for what the Earth provided and lived off grid.
My grandfather over the course of a few months, took a severe decline. We would drive every weekend from SC to NC, just to give him ripe, fresh figs off of the tree on the land as that is all he would eat.

Grandpa crossed over and it was decided that we would move up to live in the house and help the family. So we packed and moved to Fayetteville, NC.
On the 2nd to last trip up, I wrecked due to the back tires blowing out on grandpa’s van and an elderly couple decided to attemp to drive past me instead of back up and we collided on the yellow. But we still managed and we still moved- of course with drama-llama. A lot of miscommunication and unspoken consequences. But hey, I’m good at taking the blame. 💜

The past 3 years of living in Fayetteville, my family and I have been custodians of a local grassroots chapter in Fayetteville, NC- assisting Internationally to record data, table at events, and connect and network together other aligned groups, orgs, non-profits etc.
It was accidental, actually. The last trip up to move, I knew I needed to swap homeschooling details over and sign up for events and such.
As we moved later in the year, not much surfaced.
I often get the unsolicited questioning and advice on socialising MY kids. 🙄
In an attempt to deviate from said issues, I started searching volunteer endeavours. For some reason, the only environmental group I could think of, was Fridays for Future. 😂 Don’t fault me now. The stress of it all had me discombobulated and Greta was who I thought of. I wanted to keep on track with our 1000 Hours Outside Challenge and figured that would align and allow us to keep up with outside adventures.
I signed up on their website in the car, on the drive to Fayetteville.
I immediately receive a confirmation email and the very next day, “Thanks for joining. There isn’t a group there. Go ahead and create one. Also, here is an invite to our community chat.”
Wow! Say what? Crazy huh! So, I made a Fridays For Future – Fayetteville, NC chapter and added it to Action Network.
A few months in with helping to track data and train individuals I was elected as the Fridays For Future International Map Solidarity Project External Coordinator!
We were out hiking and I wasn’t even there for the voting process.
Since then, I have been voted in as lead coordinator in several other workgroups.
Right now I am acting External Coordinator and am training anyone who wants to join.
I am apart of a few non-profits, as well as movements, CBOs, and other miscellaneous adventures.
Here are a few examples of our shenanigans:

Seth’s Wish & Seth’s Wish Community Garden Check-In ✔️

Vermicomposting Workshop w/ Organic Life Amendments, Er’Body Eatz and Rick Curl 🪱

We often assist with highway and beach litter abatement and are assisting a non-profit #TheAllyFoundation and a CBO in Uganda with putting in a well.
Shoutout to #TheAllyFoundation and #NantambaDavid w/ #FFFMakindyeKampalaUganda and #TosiyoHelpingHandsFoundation.

We do a lot of environmental and climate endeavours~ Because, this is OUR home; the Earth is YOUR home.
#HowsYourHealth? Everything is interconnected. From the water to the air, from soil to blood- we ARE being impacted.

I have enjoyed being a coordinator for a few workgroups within an international movement- I love my colleagues; they are my family.

Here we are tabling at the Sustainable Sandhills Earth Day is Every Day Festival 🌱 We have done this 2 years now.~
I also help with SHE Alliance- a local St George, SC non-profit. Here are some awesome things we have been up to for the community.

In 2026, I’m bridging the gap between local resource sovereignty and global awareness. This includes completing a well project in Uganda with The Ally Foundation, hosting community vermicomposting workshops with Organic Life Amendments w/ All American Castings and SHE Alliance, and launching a 3-day educational program and local workshop on systemic corruption that impedes climate, environment, and humanitarian rights and those in marginalized communities, for both local and global audiences.
Let’s see..what else..
My hobbies include, but are not limited to: Arts-n-Crafts, Photography, Filming, Swimming, Camping, Hiking, Biking, Gardening and Reading.

I make Pathfinder Maps both digitally and in physical form. I paint full scenes on Magic The Gathering cards, I sew, paint murals and knit amongst other artsy fartsy endeavours.

I used to volunteer with the Jeff Highschool Haunted Mansion, Haunted Feargrounds and Crypt of Terror. I then had a paid spot in Indianapolis at Necropolis. I did my own makeup and costumes.

I suppose I take after my parents. Here is a collage of their artsy vibes.

I have started doing more crafting.

I made a few of these for The Ally Foundation for their winter auction.
They’re tedious and I want to make them sustainable without plastic. So, please try not to ask for one until I ethically collect/harvest enough matrials to make the swap.

I like cleaning and organizing.
Clean and organized environments aid in developing positive habits for the future.~
My family and I are very fond of animals and insects and assist with wildlife rehab and transfer – especially during hurricane season.

I am an artist at heart.
I have My Beloved Rose, a small, family-owned art business where I sell my art online or gift to auctions, to collect money to donate towards wells for water in Africa, supporting Tosiyo Helping Hands Foundation and orphanage in Uganda and more, plus several different charities like World Vision.
And of course, my holistic TCM and cupping~trade/barter website, Mysty Mountain Eclectic.

I am also into that of filming, photography, and website; webpage development and management.
I help create websites for those in MAPA areas like Uganda, Kenya, and more. This is also a slower process, as I am the only one in the family doing them. Please be kind and patient if you also need an assist. I can only do so much in a day.
Here is a snapshot of two weddings I officiated and reception I photographed and some extras, enjoy;

I am an avid believer that the body can self-heal when in environments conducive for growth and healing.
I believe that nature is our greatest gift. Traditional Chinese Medicine is in my veins. Fire cupping, herbs, and roots aee my strength. I continue teaching my own and have started passing on the gift of cupping to my oldest to carry on the practice. My grandmother taught my dad and he taught me. 🌱

I am also the daughter of a Descendant of Masters, Black Belt Hall of Fame martial artist. Thank you dad for teaching me muscle memory.

Don’t let that get to your head. It’s just a legacy. 💜 It is better to walk away than to start fights. But if they commense, you shut it down.

Came across FB memories of oldest as a baby and Sifu my dad giving her Kali sticks. 😆
So, I made a collage for the new peeps out there. You’re never too young or too old to learn something new.
My dad taught me and now I’m teaching mine. I guess one could say, yes, it runs in the family.
I miss you dad. It would be so much easier if you were here. But, all’s well. We’ve got this. 💪🏻 Time to teach. As you would say, “Break Time Is Up”.
