As a former 35M, I know the crushing weight of the Intelligence Community. You extract the data, you look the human in the eye, and you feed a massive #machine that you cannot stop.
It’s not the #MechanicalHound, but it’s close enough.
They call it duty. The researchers are finally calling it what it is, Moral Injury.
It is a soul wound-the profound trauma of witnessing or feeding systems that violate your core human morals. And because of your security clearance, you are legally bound to carry that trauma in total silence. You are locked in a vault with your classified ghosts.
You see the patterns but you dare not blow the whistle.
And while we carry that weight, the illusion of consent is quietly being erased. Let’s squash the rumor right now: there is no ✋️mandatory deployment draft happening this December.
👀 But there is a quiet theft of #autonomy. The #NDAA is flipping the switch to automatic Selective Service registration. No conscious objection. No opting in. They will just pull your data—clickety-clack—and put your name on the ledger. It isn’t boots on the ground yet, but it is the absolute stripping of choice. They’re preparing.
Then comes the sheer #audacity of the aftermath.
While the globe teeters on the edge of #water #bankruptcy, the #DoD operates as one of the most prolific polluters on earth.
They demand sprawling outdoor ranges that choke local communities in #lead and #carbon, fully ignoring the low-footprint indoor facilities-like the ones I used at #Fort #Huachuca-that already exist.
Worse, they’ve spent decades saturating the groundwater of their own installations with PFAS. #Forever #chemicals in the veins of the #earth. They demand the lives of a community while simultaneously poisoning its soil and water.
They demand the sacrifice. They strip the consent. They pollute the grid.
They LIE for the numbers—they don’t care if you’re #AuDHD. As far as they’re concerned, you’re the perfect pawn.
We are so far past standard “self-care.” We are deep into resource sovereignty, bearing witness, and holding the line.
